9:15 a.m. CT: Having their fourth breakfast in the hotel restaurant, the Wolverines have become regulars to the wait staff. Most of the players arrive early for breakfast as they begin game day against the Sooners.
10 a.m. CT: Shortly after breakfast, the hotel ballroom turns into a basketball court as the Maize and Blue goes through its final walkthrough and film session before this afternoon's contest.
1:03 p.m. CT: The hotel lobby is noticeably quieter than it has been for a couple of days now as the team heads to pregame meal. Perhaps most of the fans have headed to the Sprint Center early to take in the first game of the day between Memphis and Maryland.
3:26 p.m. CT: The Wolverines depart their hotel to head to the arena, game time against Oklahoma is a little more than an hour away.
3:41 p.m. CT: Michigan's bus arrives at the arena. On the floor, Memphis is leading Maryland early in the second half.
4:27 p.m. CT: Memphis has defeated Maryland and warm-ups for the second game of the day have started. The Maize and Blue faithful in attendance are already in full voice.
4:58 p.m. CT: The ball is in the air, the second round of the NCAA Tournament has begun for Michigan and Oklahoma.
5:47 p.m. CT: U-M goes into the intermission trailing Oklahoma by a single point, 30-29. Anthony Wright came off the bench to lead the Wolverines with a dozen points in the opening 20 minutes.
6:03 p.m. CT: Coach Beilein's halftime talk has ended and the Wolverines are back on the floor getting ready for the second half.
7:02 p.m. CT: Despite a valiant effort against the seventh-ranked Oklahoma Sooners, U-M's NCAA tournament run comes to a close with a 73-63 loss. Michigan finishes the season with an 11-win improvement in John Beilein's second year at the helm.
8:15 p.m. CT: Following media obligations, the Michigan team bus departs the Sprint Center to head back to the hotel. The Wolverines will spend one final night in Kansas City, which has treated the team wonderfully, before departing for Ann Arbor in the morning.
Sunday, March 22
9:20 a.m. CT: Buses carrying the band, cheerleaders and support staff have already departed for the airport and now the final U-M bus, carrying players and coaches, leaves the team hotel and heads to the airport.
10:21 a.m. CT: With everyone through security, the plane containing the entire Michigan travel party, players, coaches, support staff, cheerleaders and band, takes off from Kansas City. Moments before departing, the U-M players and coaches take a minute to walk to the back of the plane to thank the cheerleaders and band for their support all season long.
2:28 p.m. ET: The U-M team plane lands in Michigan. After transferring bags from the plane to the buses, the Wolverines make their way back to Crisler Arena.
1:22 p.m. ET: On the road since Tuesday evening, the Maize and Blue arrive back at campus in Ann Arbor. As disappointing as yesterday's loss was, the Wolverines have many accomplishments to be proud of from the 2008-09 season.
