Schedule: Michigan-Related Activities
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Athletic Department will host a watch party at Crisler Center on Monday, April 8, for the national championship game between the Wolverines and Louisville Cardinals. The doors at Crisler Center will open to the public at 7:30 p.m. for the national title game slated to begin at 9:23 p.m.
Admission is free for all students, faculty and staff with a valid M-Card. There will be a $5 charge for the general public with proceeds going to the Athletic Department Scholarship Fund. Seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis with the Maize Rage student seating area in the lower bowl being reserved for students. There will be special buses available to take students back after the game.
All normal game day activities will take place, including concessions, M-Den, interactive displays and content/giveaways during timeouts. The Big Ten Network will broadcast live from the event.
This is the sixth time that Michigan has played in the national championship game (1965, 1976, 1989, 1992, 1993 and 2013). The Wolverines claimed the 1989 NCAA national title with an 80-79 overtime victory against Seton Hall.
