ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's basketball team will face Duke on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 9:15 p.m. on ESPN as all Big Ten/ACC Challenge game times and TV were announced by ESPN, the Big Ten and ACC today (Thursday, Aug. 15). The Wolverines' game against the Blue Devils is part of the opening-day doubleheader on ESPN, which follows Indiana's game at Syracuse, scheduled to tip at 7:15 p.m.
Michigan, which has a 5-7 all-time record in Challenge games, will meet Duke for the first time in the conference series. Overall, U-M has an 8-21 all-time record against the Blue Devils, playing the last two games at neutral sites -- 2011 NCAA West Regional (L, 73-71) and 2011 Maui Invitational (L, 82-75). The Wolverines last played in Durham on Dec. 8, 2007, which resulted in a 95-67 loss.
Beginning the Challenge series in 1999, the ACC won the first 10 Commissioner Cups, but the Big Ten has claimed the last four series wins.
