Michigan Basketball Coaches Clinic Slated for Oct. 27
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan head men's basketball coach Tommy Amaker has announced that the annual Michigan Basketball Coaches Clinic will be held in Crisler Arena on Saturday, Oct. 27.

The clinic will be open to coaches at any level. This year's clinic will include Detroit Pistons coach Rick Carlisle, former Michigan player and current Clarkston High School boys' basketball coach Dan Fife and University of Michigan women's basketball coach Sue Guevara.

The event will begin with registration at 8:15 a.m., followed by remarks by Amaker at 8:45 a.m. From 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., presentations will be made by Fife and Carlisle, followed by a buffet lunch. Guevara will give the final presentation of the day at 1:15 p.m. before Amaker leads a U-M team practice in the afternoon.

Cost of the clinic will be $50 for all pre-registered coaches and $65 the day of the event for all non-registered coaches. Deadline for registration is Saturday, Oct. 20. Due to NCAA rules, the clinic is for coaches only; players may not participate.
