ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's basketball team will play 11 of its 18 Big Ten games on either ESPN or CBS, following today's (Wednesday, Aug. 28) announcement by the Big Ten Conference. In addition, the conference office released the game times for U-M's 2013-14 schedule, with additional full TV designations being released at a later date.
Overall, Michigan has eight games on the ESPN network, including the previously announced pair of Super Tuesday games at Ohio State on Feb. 11 and at Illinois on March 4, as well as the College GameDay match-up at Michigan State on Jan. 25.
In addition to those three road games, U-M has six total ESPN games away from Ann Arbor as the Wolverines will be at Nebraska on Jan. 9, at Wisconsin on Jan. 18 and at Iowa on Feb. 8. The Maize and Blue's two home contests on ESPN will be against Purdue on Jan. 30 and Indiana on March 8.
U-M could have up to three conference games on CBS. The Wolverines will travel to Bloomington, Ind., to face Indiana on Feb. 2 before hosting Wisconsin at Crisler Center on Feb. 16. Both games are slated for 1 p.m. starts. U-M might have a third game on CBS, as the Wolverines' home contest against Michigan State on Feb. 23 is a conference TV wildcard game.
