ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's basketball sophomore forward Glenn Robinson III (St. John, Ind./Lake Central HS) is featured on the regional cover of Lindy's 2013-14 College Basketball Magazine and has been named to the preseason All-Big Ten first team by the magazine.

Robinson, who was listed as the conference's top NBA prospect, was joined on the All-Big Ten first team by Ohio State's Aaron Craft and Michigan State's Keith Appling, Gary Harris and Adreian Payne. U-M sophomores Mitch McGary (Chesterton, Ind./Brewster Academy N.H.) and Nik Stauskas (Mississauga, Ontario, Canada/St. Mark's School [Mass.]) were both named to the preseason second team.

Robinson, who had his own breakout feature in the preseason player rating section, was listed as the No. 2 small forward in the country, while McGary was rated the No. 2 power forward, and Stauskas was named as the No. 10 shooting guard as well as the top shooter in the Big Ten. As a team, the Wolverines frontcourt was ranked as the ninth best in the country.

The magazine had the Wolverines ranked preseason No. 10, following top-ranked Michigan State, No. 2 Kentucky, No. 3 Duke, No. 4 Kansas, No. 5 North Carolina, No. 6 Ohio State, No. 7 Louisville, No. 8 Florida and No. 9 Oklahoma State.

McGary helped U-M to a 31-8 overall mark last season and a national runner-up finish after averaging a double-double in postseason play, recording 14.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. During the regular season, he led the team with 6.3 rebounds per game while averaging 7.5 points.
