ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's basketball coach Tommy Amaker has announced that the third annual Michigan Basketball Coaches Clinic will be held at Crisler Arena on Sunday, Oct. 19. The clinic will be open to coaches at any level. This year's clinic will feature former NBA coach and analyst Doug Collins as well as a 2003-04 Michigan squad practice.
The event will begin with registration at 8:15 a.m. followed by remarks by Amaker at 9 a.m. From 9:15 to noon, a presentation will be made by Collins, which will be followed by lunch. Coach Amaker will then lead a Michigan Basketball practice in the afternoon.
Cost of the clinic will be $65 for all pre-registered coaches and $75 for later registrations. Deadline for early registration is Friday, Oct. 10.
Due to NCAA rules, the clinic is for coaches only. Players may not participate.
