U-M Basketball Teams Will Host Two Doubleheaders at Crisler Center

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's and women's basketball team will host a pair of doubleheaders at Crisler Center during the non-conference schedule.

The first doubleheader tips off the regular season for both teams, Friday, Nov. 9. The women begin the Kim Barnes Arico era against Detroit at 6 p.m., followed by the men's game at 8:30 p.m. against Slippery Rock. In the men's season opener they will unveil the 2012 Big Ten championship banner prior to tipoff.

In December, the men and women will have an additional doubleheader match-up. On Thursday, Dec. 20, the women host Valparaiso at 6 p.m., followed by the men's game against Eastern Michigan at 8:30 p.m.

Each game will be ticketed separately. For both doubleheaders, all Wolverine fans attending the women's game must purchase a ticket for the men's game if they wish to stay for the second game of the night. Fans with a men's ticket are welcome to come early free of charge to the women's game, but must sit in non-reserved seats.

Season tickets for the 2012-13 Michigan men's basketball season are now available only in the upper level of the renovated Crisler Center, with prices starting as low as $340 per seat ($17 per game). There are 20 games in the 2012-13 season-ticket package, including nine Big Ten match-ups. Tickets can be purchased at MGoBlue.com/tickets.

Season tickets for the 2012-13 women's basketball season are currently on sale through the U-M Athletic Ticket Office. Fans can purchase season tickets for as low as $50 for general admission or $100 for reserved lower bowl seats. There are 17 games in this year's season-ticket package, including eight Big Ten match-ups and marquee non-conference contests against Duke and Florida. Tickets can be purchased at MGoBlue.com/tickets.
