Courtney Sims paced Michigan on the boards, corralling seven rebounds in the contest, including six on the defensive glass. Sims also notched seven points and two steals.
Jerret Smith and Jevohn Shepherd saw their first collegiate action today against the Lakers. Smith scored four points to go with one rebound and an assist while Shephard added two points and a pair of rebounds.
