The Wolverines return three starters from a season ago, including sophomore guard Manny Harris(Detroit, Mich./Redford), a second team All-Big Ten performer last year and the leading returning scorer in the conference, averaging 16.1 points per game last season. Junior forward DeShawn Sims(Detroit, Mich./Pershing), an All-Big Ten honorable mention selection last season, and sophomore guard Kelvin Grady(Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) also return as starters from last season.

Thursday night's contest serves as the final tune-up for the Wolverines before they begin the regular season next Tuesday (Nov. 11) as they host Michigan Tech at 7 p.m. in the first round of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer.

On Friday (Nov. 7), fans can return to Crisler Arena as the men's and women's basketball programs host "Fan Night" at 7:15 p.m. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. and fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from players on both the men's and women's basketball teams as well as men's head coach John Beilein and women's head coach Kevin Borseth. There will also be raffle prizes, sno-cones and cotton candy. The event is free of charge.
