Today's game marked the second straight season the Wolverines opened the exhibition season with a game against Michigan Tech. U-M defeated the Huskies 73-61 last season (Nov. 8).

The Wolverines shot 46 percent for the game today, including shooting 60 percent in the first half.

Michigan forced the Huskies into 12 turnovers and held Michigan Tech to just 30.4 percent shooting from the field.

Michigan had three players score in double-digits today. Daniel Horton and Courtney Sims led the way with 13 points each and Lester Abram chipped in with 12 points.

Freshman Ronald Coleman saw his first intercollegiate action today. Coleman finished the game with two points and one assist.

Daniel Horton and Courtney Sims shared high-point honors for the Wolverines today. The duo finished the game with 13 points each.

Daniel Horton handed out seven assists to lead Michigan in that category.

Courtney Sims was the top rebounder for the Wolverines today. He finished the game with eight boards.
