Today's game marked the first meeting between Michigan and Michigan Tech.

Michigan shot 47.1 percent (24-51) from the field and hit 8-of-20 threes for 40 percent behind the three-point arc.

Michigan out-rebounded Michigan Tech 40-31, including 12 offensive rebounds for the Wolverines.

Michigan and Michigan Tech combined for 18 three-point baskets today. The Wolverines hit eight shots from behind the arc while the Huskies connected on 10 three-point field goals.

Lester Abram, Dion Harris, Daniel Horton, Chris Hunter and J.C. Mathis started today's game for the Wolverines.

Graham Brown, Bernard Robinson Jr. and Brent Petway missed today's game due to injuries.

Daniel Horton led all scorers with 23 points. Horton also notched eight rebounds and six assists.

Lester Abram led the Wolverines with nine rebounds. Abram also chipped in 11 points, three assists, one block and one steal.

J.C. Mathis posted his first block wearing the Maize and Blue early in the first half. Mathis finished the game with four points, three rebounds two assists and two blocks.

Dion Harris netted his first two buckets in a Michigan uniform when he dropped in a pair of three-point shots midway through the first half. Harris finished the game with 17 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Courtney Sims scored 10 points and corralled seven rebounds in his Michigan debut.

Today's attendance was 10,281.

Michigan's record in their white jerseys is 1-0. The Wolverines will be wearing black shoes with black socks and black ankle tape this season.
