Michigan's starting lineup was Dion Harris, Ron Coleman, Lester Abram, Brent Petway and Courtney Sims.

With his start against Davidson, Courtney Sims played in his 100th straight game as a Wolverine. He became the 49th Wolverine to play 100 career games. In addition to Sims, Ron Coleman, who started, played in his 66th straight game for the Maize and Blue.

Dion Harris' 23 points and Courtney Sims' 21 points against Davidson marked the first time Michigan had two 20-point scorers in a game since last season's game against Butler (Nov. 26, 2005). In that game against the Bulldogs, Daniel Horton led with 28 points, while Sims had 21.

In the first two games of the season, Dion Harris has posted double-digit scoring performances and led the Wolverines in points each night. To open the season, he had 19 points in the victory against Central Connecticut State and followed with 23 points against Davidson. He leads the team with 21.0 points per game.

Against Davidson, Dion Harris recorded career-bests in free throws made (11) and attempted (12). He topped his previous career-best of eight made free throws against Oklahoma (March 22, 2004) and 10 attempts against South Florida (Dec. 11, 2004) and against Oklahoma.

With two steals against Davidson, Dion Harris now had 100 total in his career and is 17 away from cracking into Michigan's all-time top 10.

In the first two games, Courtney Sims is shooting 71.4 percent from the field (10-for-14). He is second on the team with 14.0 points per game.

Brent Petway closed the game Davidson with a career-best 13 rebounds. He topped his previous best of 11 which he had at Ohio State (Feb. 5, 2006) and against Boston University (Dec. 14, 2004). In addition, to his rebounds best, he tied his career-best mark by playing in 36 minutes of action against Davidson. He tied his best of 36 minutes against Fairfield (Jan. 8, 2005).

After two games, Brent Petway leads the Wolverines averaging 10.0 rebounds a game after collecting 20 total -- eight on the offensive and 12 on the defensive end.

Ron Coleman has posted back-to-back games scoring in double figures. He opened the season with 10 points against Central Connecticut State and followed with 12 points against Davidson. He now has 20 career games scoring in double figures.

Jerret Smith finished the game against Davidson with a career-best five rebounds. The guard topped his previous best of four which he had at Ohio State (Feb. 25, 2006) and at Penn State (Feb. 1, 2006). He also tied a career-best with three steals against Davidson. He also had three steals against Purdue (Jan. 7, 2006).
