Robinson Scores Double Figures in Nine Straight
Sophomore wing Bernard Robinson Jr. recorded his ninth consecutive double-digit performance by scoring 11 points against the Broncos. Robinson Jr. finished the game shooting 4-for-9 from the floor while adding four rebounds and a steal in 31 minutes.
Groninger Hits 400
Junior guard Gavin Groninger scored his 400th career point on a three-point bucket early in the second half. Groninger finished the game with a team-high 16 points, adding three rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Freshmen Lead Bench
The Wolverines received 32 points off the bench against the Broncos, outscoring the opposition's bench by 26. The freshman duo of Dommanic Ingerson and Chuck Bailey led the Maize and Blue with 13 points apiece.
Bailey Drops in Career Highs
Chuck Bailey scored nine of his career-high 13 points in the second half. Playing in 14 minutes of action he pulled down a career-high seven rebounds, five of which came on the offensive end.
Young Ties Former Fab Fiver
Senior Chris Young swatted away the 56th blocked shot of his career. The rejection tied him former Michigan star Juwan Howard (1992-94) for 11th place on Michigan's all-time list.
Senior Chris Young added to his consecutive games played streak, starting his 31st straight game and playing in his 91st consecutive contest.
The Wolverines shot 89 percent (16 for 18) from the charity stripe against the Broncos Friday night. Senior Chris Young led the team, going 4-of-4 from the line.
