Robinson Injures Right Hand After Bowling Green Game
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's basketball player Bernard Robinson Jr. (Washington, D.C./New Hampton Prep, N.H.) injured his right hand following the Wolverines' loss at Bowling Green Wednesday night (Nov. 29).

As the Wolverines headed to the locker room, Robinson Jr., a sophomore wing, struck the window to a fire extinguisher door, causing two lacerations on the bottom of his right hand.

"We've apologized to the Bowling Green officials about the incident involving Bernard," said head coach Tommy Amaker. "We understand the game had an emotional outcome, but we need to conduct ourselves in the proper fashion at all times. Bernard's conduct was unacceptable, and we will deal with this incident as a team."

Robinson will wear a protective wrap on his right hand and is not expected to miss any games due to the injury.
