Michigan's 6-0 Crisler Arena record is its best home start since the 2000-01 season when U-M began with a 7-0 mark. The Wolverines are 4-0 during their six-game December homestand.

Delaware State's 14 first-half points were the fewest allowed by the Wolverines in Crisler Arena. The previous low for scoring in one half was 15, which has occurred three times, most recently by Minnesota on Jan. 20, 1998. The Wolverines began play in Crisler Arena in 1967.

The last time Michigan held an opponent to 15 points or less in a half came Feb. 26, 2000, when Northwestern managed only 15 first-half points in Evanston, Ill.

With only 30 points in the first half, the Maize and Blue had its lowest first-half scoring output of the season. Michigan is undefeated (7-0) when leading at the half.

Michigan is 6-0 when out-rebounding its opponents. U-M had a 37-20 advantage on the boards against the Hornets.

Michigan won the tip for the seventh time this season. U-M is 6-1 when winning the opening possession.

Michigan's 55-50 win over Delaware State marked the second time this season that the Wolverines held a team to 50 points or less. U-M held High Point to a season-low 49 points on Nov. 26.

The Wolverines shot a season-low 38.6 percent (17-for-44) from the field against Delaware State. Prior to tonight's game, U-M's lowest success rate was 40.7 percent (22-for-54) against N.C. State (Dec. 2).

Michigan's starters were sophomores Graham Brown, Daniel Horton and Lester Abram and freshmen Dion Harris and Courtney Sims. It marked the first time this season that Michigan did not have an upperclassman on the floor to start the game.

Bernard Robinson Jr. scored his 1,200th career point with a pair of free throws at the 12:13 mark of the second half. Robinson now has 1,203 career points and sits in 29th place on Michigan's all-time scoring list, eight points shy of Richard Rellford (1982-85) in 28th place.

With one steal in the game, Bernard Robinson Jr. moved within two steals of Dugan Fife (1992-96) for seventh place on Michigan's all-time steals list. Robinson has 123 career swipes.

J.C. Mathis led the Wolverines in rebounding for a team-leading fourth time this season. Mathis had seven boards against the Hornets.

J.C. Mathis had a career-high-tying two blocks against the Hornets.

Dion Harris' miss from the free throw line at 17:51 marked the first misfire of his U-M career. Harris is 15-for-16 from the charity stripe at Michigan, including a stretch of 14 straight to begin his career.

Dion Harris' 10 three-point attempts and 11 total field goal attempts are the most in his career, and he set a career high with 38 minutes played.

Courtney Sims tied a career high with two free throws against Delaware State. Sims was 2-of-4 from the line.

With four blocks against the Wolverines, Delaware State tied Oakland (Nov. 21) for most blocks against the Wolverines this season.

Tonight's attendance was 8,123.
