With its 87-80 victory over Miami (Ohio), Michigan improved to 8-1 on the season and 4-1 all-time against the RedHawks

The Wolverines tied a season high with 87 points against Miami (Ohio). The Wolverines also posted 87 points against Central Michigan in the season opener (Nov 18).

Michigan shot a season-best 64.3 percent from the floor (27-of-42) to mark the third game U-M has shot over 60 percent. The Wolverines also topped the 60 percent mark against Delaware State (Dec. 7) and Central Michigan (Nov. 18).

The Wolverines also shot a season-best from three-point range, connecting on 9-of-16 attempts for 56.2 percent.

Five Wolverines scored on double digits led by Daniel Horton with 17 points and Courtney Sims with 16. Chris Hunter added a season-high 15 points while Graham Brown and Ronald Coleman each scored 10. Michigan has had at least two players in double digits each game this season.

Daniel Horton scored a team-high 17 points against Miami (Ohio) to surpass the 1,150-point mark in his career. Horton now has 1,166 points in 86 career games.

Daniel Horton handed out three assists against Miami (Ohio) to move into ninth on U-M's all-time assists list with 355 helpers. Horton passed Jimmy King (1992-95) who had 354 assists in his career.

With eight points tonight, Lester Abram surpassed the 850-point mark in his career. Abram now has 854 points in 73 career games.

Chris Hunter tied a season high with 15 points to pass the 550-point mark in his career. Hunter now has 552 points in 84 career games.

Chris Hunter enjoyed a perfect night of shooting connecting on 4-of-4 attempts from the floor, including three triples and 4-of-4 attempts from the free-throw line.

Chris Hunter's three triples marked a career high for the senior forward. His previous best was two, which he recorded three times.

Courtney Sims played in his 74th straight game and made his 65th start.

With 16 points, Courtney Sims passed the 700-point mark in his career. Sims now has 705 points in 74 career games.

Dion Harris played in his 74th straight game.

Ronald Coleman earned his first start of the season for the Maize and Blue. Coleman has played in 40 consecutive games.

Ronald Coleman scored a season high 10 points against the Red Hawks.

Ronald Coleman pulled down two rebounds against Miami (Ohio) and now has exactly 100 boards in his career.

Amadou Ba sank the first free throw of his career going 1-for-2 from the line against Miami (Ohio).
