With today's 75-54 victory over UNC-Asheville, Michigan improves to 5-0 all time against Big South Conference opponents.

With today's 75-54 victory over the Bulldogs, the Wolverines improve to 8-1 at Crisler Arena. Michigan currently holds an 8-5 overall record.

Michigan recorded a team-low 10 turnovers against UNC-Asheville. The Wolverines' previous best was 12, which they have had on two different occasions this season.

The Wolverines recorded 22 assists against the Bulldogs for the highest team assist total since March 8, 2001, when the Maize and Blue recorded 24 assists against Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament. Dion Harris lead the team with a career-best eight.

The Wolverines had four players reach double digits for the fourth time this season: Chris Hunter (20), Ron Coleman (17), Courtney Sims (11) and Dion Harris (10).

The Wolverines held the Bulldogs to a team-low 25 points in the first half. Michigan has held two other teams to 25 points in the first half this season: Delaware State (Dec. 29) and Arizona (Nov. 24).

John Andrews brought down a career best in rebounds with four. Andrews has recorded four boards on three other occasions.

John Andrews dished off a career-best four assists against the Bulldogs. Andrews matched his previous best of four, which he recorded at UCLA (Dec. 18).

Amadou Ba recorded his first career points against UNC-Asheville. Ba put up two points under the basket off an assist from Alex Brzozowicz.

Dion Harris dished off a career-best eight assists against UNC-Asheville. Harris' previous best was six, which he has recorded on three other occasions.

With today's start against the Bulldogs, Dion Harris has played in 47 consecutive games for the Wolverines with 24 starts. After starting just 11 games all of last season, Harris has received the starting nod in all of Michigan's 13 games this year.

Courtney Sims matched his career best in assist when he dished off two against the Bulldogs. Sims has recorded two assists on four other occasions.

With his 11 points against UNC-Asheville, Courtney Sims reached and surpassed the 400-point mark in his young career. Sims currently holds 408 career tallies.

With today's start against UNC-Asheville, Courtney Sims has played in 47 consecutive games for the Wolverines with 46 starts.

Ron Coleman strongly finished the month of December, averaging 10.9 points in seven games. The freshman guard improved dramatically from the first six games of the season, when he recorded eight points in six games for a 1.3 average.

Ron Coleman scored a career-best 17 points against the Bulldogs. Coleman topped his previous best of 13 points, which he set at UCLA (Dec. 18) before matching it Wednesday (Dec. 29) against Delaware State.

Ron Coleman shot 8-for-14 from the field against UNC-Asheville for a career best in field goals and attempts. Coleman's previous best in field goals was five, set at UCLA (Dec. 18). His previous best in attempts was 11, which he has recorded on two other occasions.

Alex Brzozowicz saw the first action of his young career against UNC-Asheville. Brzozowicz recorded one assist against the Bulldogs for his first career statistic.

Today's attendance was 10,786 tickets sold.
