2011-12 Michigan Basketball Broadcast Information
Michigan Sports Marketing Network
In its ninth season as a division of IMG College, the Michigan Sports Marketing represents one of the largest and most listened-to college sports network in the Midwest. Anchored by WWJ-AM (950) in Detroit, the Michigan Sports Marketing Network is comprised of 25 affiliate stations that cover the state of Michigan during the basketball season. They also oversee the production, selling and vending of the game day programs and the University's official website, MGoBlue.com. The Michigan Sports Marketing pregame show begins one half-hour prior to each game, with a half-hour postgame show at the conclusion of each game. For the 2011-12 season, Matt Shepard will return as the play-by-play announcer for the Wolverines.

WWWW 102.9 FM to Broadcast Games 6 p.m. or Later
In the Ann Arbor area, all Michigan men's basketball contests with a tip at 6 p.m. or later will be broadcast on WWWW (102.9 FM). Games that start earlier than 6 p.m. will air on WTKA (1050 AM).
Michigan Sports Network Game Audio
All games will be streamed free of charge in Window Media format. Links will be provided on the MGoBlue.com front page and the men's basketball page.
Inside Michigan Basketball (Television)
Inside Michigan Basketball, the U-M athletic department-owned basketball television show, will continue its fifth season on Fox Sports Detroit. The 30-minute program dedicated to Maize and Blue hoops teams will be shown on regularly Monday's and replayed during the week on FS Detroit and the Big Ten Network. Please check stations websites for replay dates. Hosted by Matt Shepard, Inside Michigan Basketball begins with a preview show on Dec. 19 and will run throughout the 2011-12 season. Due to Big Ten Network regulations, Inside Michigan Basketball will not be available on MGoBlue.com, but the U-M athletic department plans to offer a postgame internet interviews and wrap-ups of games.
Inside Michigan Basketball with John Beilein (Radio) Pizza House • Ann Arbor, Mich.
For the fifth season, the Michigan Sports Network will present the Inside Michigan Basketball with John Beilein radio show, which is broadcast live from 7-8 p.m. at Pizza House in Ann Arbor and hosted by Matt Shepard. The one-hour show, featuring comments and discussions from Coach Beilein, his staff and select guests, will be broadcast on 1270 AM WXYT in Detroit, on 1050 AM WTKA in Ann Arbor, and will be available via internet stream at MGoBlue.com (subscription). There are 12 shows on the schedule, beginning Monday, Dec. 5, with possibility of additional shows if the Wolverines move into the postseason. There will be no show Dec. 26 due to holiday break, as well as Jan. 23 and Feb. 20 due to travel. For restaurant information or table reservations, call (734) 995-5095.

Big Ten Conference Teleconference
Every Monday starting in December and throughout the conference regular season, each Big Ten coach will be available via conference call for a 10-minute time frame. U-M coach John Beilein will participate on the conference call from 11:20 to 11:30 a.m. ET.
