Getting to Know the 2012 Michigan Football Freshmen, Week Four

Aubrey Pleasant is in his second season as Michigan's defensive graduate assistant coach. He joins the staff after coaching the defensive backs at Grand Blanc High School (2010) and working within the Flint Community.

Pleasant was a three-year letterman at safety for the University of Wisconsin (2005-08). He played safety and special teams in 41 career games and made 14 starts at safety. Pleasant finished his career with 80 tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss and two sacks.

Pleasant earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from Wisconsin in 2009. He completed one year of graduate work in education, leadership and policy analysis at Wisconsin.

Pleasant attended Montrose High School in Flint, Mich. He earned all-city running back as a sophomore and received Class B all-state honorable mention at safety senior year.
