U-M finished the afternoon with six total touchdowns (four run, two pass). The Maize team prevailed against the Blue team, 31-29, ending on a 31-yard field goal from Kyle Seychel as time expired.
Quarterback Wilton Speight started for the Blue team and finished the day completing 9-of-26 attempts for 78 total passing yards.
Brandon Peters led the passing attack for the Maize team, completing 9-of-17 for 160 yards and rushing for a 12-yard touchdown.
Thirteen (13) total ball carriers ran the ball today, with seven for the Blue team and six for the Maize team.
Passers spread the ball to 15 different receivers: Tarik Black, Kekoa Crawford, Chris Evans, Nick Eubanks, Zach Gentry, Joe Hewlett, Khalid Hill, Nate Johnson, Eddie McDoom, Sean McKeon, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Nate Schoenle, Maurice Ways, Tyrone Wheatley and Brendan White.
Safety Jordan Glasgow had a 100-yard interception returned for a touchdown for the Maize team, and cornerback Benjamin St-Juste also had an interception, which he returned for 17 yards. For the Blue team, Brandon Watson had a 32-yard interception returned for a touchdown.
Running back Karan Higdon amassed a game-high 81 rushing yards. His longest rush of the day was a 27-yard carry.
Wide receiver Nate Schoenle led the receivers with two receptions, hauling in 58 yards total.
Safety Tyree Kinnel led the Maize defense with a game-high seven tackles.
