ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan football team, which finished the season ranked No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll and No. 12 in the Associated Press Poll following its 23-20 overtime victory over Virginia Tech in the Allstate Sugar Bowl last Tuesday (Jan. 3), will be honored at Wednesday's (Jan. 11) men's basketball game as the No. 13-ranked Wolverines face Northwestern at 6:30 p.m. inside the Crisler Center.
In addition to the football team being honored during the first half, U-M is offering fans a chance to take a picture with the Sugar Bowl championship trophy, which will be on display on the concourse from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

U-M (11-2) finished the season ranked in the top 10 for the first time since 2006, when the Wolverines also finished 11-2 and No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll. 'Team 132' became only the ninth U-M squad to win 11 games in a season, and the fifth team in the modern era.
