Most Improved Player of the Year Award

(Through 2016 Season)

The Most Improved Player of the Year Award is given to the football player who demonstrates the greatest advancement in quality of play over the course of the season, as decided by his coaches. This award was first given at the conclusion of the 2016 season under Coach Jim Harbaugh and rewards the increased impact that a player has during the year.
