ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan football head coach Rich Rodriguez and the coaching staff will host their annual three-day spring coaches clinic Thursday, April 8, through Saturday, April 10, at the Schembechler Hall Football Complex.
The clinic includes three days of practice starting Thursday (April 8). Rodriguez will provide the featured talk on Thursday evening following the special teams' clinic. On Friday, members of the Michigan coaching staff will speak and run field demonstrations, and Mike Barwis will conduct a strength and conditioning overview prior to practice. The clinic concludes following practice on Saturday.
The clinic costs $45 per coach and checks should be made payable to Michigan Athletic Department. The fee can be paid online at www.MichiganCoachesClinic.com, by check in advance or by cash or check at the door on the day of registration.
In addition to the spring clinic, the Michigan football program announced that its four-day summer camp will be June 19-22, 2010. The Wolverines will also hold a seven-on-seven team passing camp (June 24-25), a kicking camp (June 12-13) and a youth football camp for grades 6-8 (June 26-28).
