ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan football strength and conditioning staff will host a strength and conditioning clinic at Schembechler Hall on Saturday, April 12. Participants may register at strength.umich.edu.

In addition to members of the Michigan strength staff, led by Michigan football director of strength and conditioning Aaron Wellman, the clinic will feature several other speakers including nutritionists and strength coaches from the high school, collegiate and professional level.

"We're excited to host our second strength and conditioning clinic," said Wellman. "We received great feedback from last year, when we had nearly 180 coaches attend. The clinic offers an opportunity to share ideas and develop as professionals to ultimately better serve our student-athletes."

Along with strength coaches and nutritionists, physical therapists and athletic trainers are also encouraged to attend. The clinic costs $50 per participant for online registration and $60 for walk-up registration. A complete schedule with speakers is available on the site.
