ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Athletic Department announced today (Wednesday, March 9) that all the premium seats -- indoor and outdoor club seats and suites -- at Michigan Stadium are sold out for the upcoming 2011 season.
"We have received a tremendous response from our fans with respect to the new seating opportunities at Michigan Stadium," said director of athletics Dave Brandon. "Our development office has done a great job getting commitments on every club seat and suite, and because of their hard work we've generated a waiting list for those areas."
All 81 suites are sold out for the next two seasons, and the 3,000-plus club seats have been committed for the 2011 season. The indoor and outdoor club seats on the east side of Michigan Stadium and the chairback seats on the west side require an annual renewal, while suites require a multi-year commitment.
Michigan had commitments on 93 percent of the club seats and 80 percent of the suites during the 2010 football season.
Premium Seating Waiting List: Fans interested in being placed on the waiting list for club seats or suites can contact the U-M Athletic Development Office by phone (734-764-7131) or e-mail (email@example.com).
