ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan football fifth-year senior wide receiver Jeremy Gallon (Apopka, Fla./Apopka) has been named to the 2013 Biletnikoff Award preseason watch list, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced today (Tuesday, July 16).

Gallon is among eight Big Ten Conference players and 75 overall candidates listed for the award that goes to the nation's most outstanding receiver. He is U-M's active leader in career receptions (84), receiving yards (1,331) and receiving touchdowns (eight).

Gallon has posted a reception in 26 consecutive games, which ranks tied for fifth all-time in U-M history with Amani Toomer and Adrian Arrington. He paced Michigan with 49 catches for 829 yards and four touchdowns in 2012, including a career-high nine catches for a career-best 145 yards and two touchdowns against South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.

Semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award will be named on Nov. 18, and three finalists will be announced on Nov. 25. The winner will be announced on Dec. 12 as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards Show.
