ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan head football coach Rich Rodriguez and players Mark Moundros (Farmington Hills, Mich./North Farmington HS), Stephen Schilling (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue HS) and Troy Woolfolk (Sugar Land, Texas/Dulles HS) will represent the Wolverine program at the 39th annual Big Ten Kickoff Event scheduled for Aug. 2-3 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill.

Rodriguez begins his third season at the helm of the U-M program. He has 16 starters returning from last season's squad, including seven players on offense, eight defensive performers and long snapper Tom Pomarico (Jackson, Mich./Lumen Christi) on special teams. The Wolverines have 53 of 77 lettermen returning from last year's squad.

Moundros is expected to be a two-way performer for the Wolverines in 2010. He practiced at linebacker throughout the spring and is the team's starting fullback. Moundros has made 15 special teams tackles during his career and has four catches for 13 yards and one touchdown with three rushing attempts for 14 yards and one TD. He was elected the squad's special teams player of the year in 2008.

Schilling has started more games than any other Wolverine, making 36 starts in a possible 37 games. He started at left guard in 2009 after starting at right tackle during his first two seasons. Schilling earned 2009 All-Big Ten honorable mention and was the co-recipient of the Hugh R. Rader Jr. Award as Michigan's top offensive lineman. He has started 22 games at right tackle, 12 contests at left guard and two games at right guard.

Woolfolk split time as the starter at cornerback and safety in 2009. He has played in 32 career contests, with 12 starts last season, recording 61 tackles and three pass breakups. Woolfolk amassed 46 tackles and one pass breakup in 12 starts last season.
