Football Game Central | Training Camp Central

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Athletic Department has created a new, exciting pre-game opportunity for fans to experience Michigan Stadium on Fridays leading up to home football games. W.O.W. Fridays -- or Welcoming Our Wolverines -- will make its debut on Friday, Aug. 30, prior to Team 134's season opener against Central Michigan on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 3:30 p.m.

The athletic department would like to welcome fans and visitors to Ann Arbor and Michigan Stadium with a unique opportunity on Fridays prior to home football games. They will have the opportunity to purchase the official game program, take their picture with one of the well-known landmarks at the "Big House" and ask any question they may have prior to game day.

Guest Services Team Members will be available outside Gate 10 (corner of East Keech Avenue and Greene Street) and the Northeast Entry of Crisler Center from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the following home football Fridays:

• Aug. 30
• Sept. 6
• Sept. 13
• Oct. 4
• Oct. 18
• Nov. 8

A 60-minute tour of Crisler Center and select areas of Michigan Stadium will also be available on Fridays prior to home football games for a fee of $10 per person. Visitor parking is available in Lot SC32 located on the southwest corner of Hoover Avenue and Green Street. Please visit http://pts.umich.edu/maps/central_south.pdf to find other designated visitor parking lots on central campus that are just a short walk from Michigan Stadium.

Tour tickets will be available for purchase at the Crisler Center Ticket Office located just inside the Northeast Entry beginning at 10 a.m., with tours starting at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Please note that on Nov. 8 there will only be tours at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and there will be no tours on Nov. 29 due to home men's and women's basketball games. The tours will begin in the Hall of Honor area of Crisler Center, located on the east side of the Crisler Center concourse. There will be an opportunity to have photos taken inside the stadium and officially licensed University of Michigan souvenirs will be available at the M Den Store located on the northeast concourse of Crisler between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Due to ongoing preparations for the home football game, these tours will NOT go into the locker rooms or onto the field.

Please email any questions regarding W.O.W. Friday to guestservices@umich.edu. For additional information on other guided tours of Michigan Stadium and/or Crisler Center, visit MGoBlue.com/specialevents/tours.
