ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Recent rainy weather in the Ann Arbor area has led to parking lot closures and policy modifications for Saturday's (Sept. 10) University of Michigan football game against Notre Dame, scheduled for 8 p.m. at Michigan Stadium.
The following information is as of 7 a.m. Saturday; more updates are not anticipated:
U-M Golf Course: The primary parking areas (entrances off State Street and Main Street) will be closed, and the Green Lot (entrance off Stadium Blvd.) will be permit only (no cash sales).
Ann Arbor Golf & Outing Club: Members and season passes only (no cash sales).
Pioneer High School: The grass areas of the Purple Lot will be closed.
The Parking Information for Football Game Days page has more information on parking lot options.
Parking lots will open at noon for the Notre Dame game. As is the case for all games, vehicles are prohibited from lining up on the streets prior to the parking lots opening around the city and U-M campus. Fans will be asked to keep moving and will not be allowed to form lines.
Also, beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday and running until the end of the game, Main Street will be closed between Stadium Blvd. and Pauline.
The Ann Arbor Transit Authority (AATA) offers shuttle service between Michigan Stadium and Ann Arbor hotels and motels, U-M parking structures and lots, the Michigan Union, and downtown Ann Arbor. A list of shuttle locations and more information is available at theride.org/football.asp.
