ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Due to rainy weather over the past several days, the University of Michigan Athletic Department has announced parking closures for tomorrow's (Saturday, Oct. 13) Michigan-Purdue football game (12:10 p.m. EDT).
There will be no parking on the grass areas of the University of Michigan Golf Course, Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club, and Pioneer High School.
The U-M Varsity Tennis Center has 500 parking spots available to the public for $10. The Varsity Tennis Center is located south of the U-M Golf Course and is accessible from State Street. The lot is within walking distance of Michigan Stadium, with a courtesy path running through the golf course providing a direct link between the lot and the stadium. In addition, a free shuttle service is available.
The Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA) provides service from 22 different shuttle locations to Michigan Stadium. The cost for the round trip is $4 per person or $2 one way. The shuttles are available at all major Ann Arbor area hotels and motels, the Maple Village Shopping Center on the west side and the downtown parking structures.
