WOLVERINES AND THE HOOSIERS
This will be the 62nd meeting between Michigan and Indiana. The Wolverines have a 52-9 advantage in the all-time series and are 35-7 in Ann Arbor against the Hoosiers.
U-M has won 17 straight games against IU and has claimed victories in 32 of the last 33 contests (only setback was a 14-10 loss in 1987).
STREAKS TO WATCH
WR Jeremy Gallon has posted a reception in 32 straight games.
QB Devin Gardner has accounted for at least two touchdowns in 10 of his last 11 games. He has also tallied at least three touchdowns in eight of his last 11 games.
K Brendan Gibbons has converted a program-record 127 straight PATs.
TE Devin Funchess has posted 100+ yards receiving in back-to-back games.
The U-M defense has not allowed a 100-yard rusher in seven straight games.
Michigan has scored a defensive touchdown in consecutive games.
LB Desmond Morgan has tallied at least four tackles in 21 straight regular-season games.
Under head coach Brady Hoke, Michigan has won 18 straight games at Michigan Stadium -- the longest active home winning streak among BCS conference teams.
U-M ranks ninth in the nation in rushing defense, allowing only 89.5 yards per game on the ground. The Wolverines have not allowed a 100-yard rusher through six games.
The Wolverines have surrendered only 11 touchdowns this season and have allowed only two rushing scores through six games.
U-M's third-down defense has been stellar this season, as U-M opponents are 33-of-89 (37%) on third-down conversions.
After posting a career-high two sacks at Penn State (Oct. 12), junior defensive end Frank Clark leads the Wolverines with 3.5 sacks.
THE LAST TIME VS. INDIANA ...
Sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson scored the game-winning touchdown on a four-yard run over the left end with 17 seconds remaining in regulation to give U-M a 42-35 victory at Indiana on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Memorial Stadium.
Robinson racked up 494 yards of total offense against the Hoosiers, completing 10-of-16 passes for a career-best 277 yards and three touchdowns and used 19 carries to rush for 217 yards and two touchdowns.
COACH HOKE AGAINST INDIANA
Saturday will mark Brady Hoke's fourth encounter against Indiana as a head coach. Hoke went 1-2 in three encounters against the Hoosiers while head coach at Ball State.
