ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Athletic Department is auctioning off exclusive items from its two home football games during the month of October. The eight pylons used during practice leading up to the Michigan State game and pink gloves from the homecoming game against Illinois will be available online through the MGoBlue.com auction site from Oct. 24-26.
The custom practice pylons were used during the week leading up to the 900th win in program history. The orange pylons have the date of the game and logos for both Michigan and Michigan State. Each of the eight pylons is autographed by head coach Brady Hoke.
The adizero Smoke gloves were worn by players during the Illinois football game on Oct. 13. There are 11 pairs of game worn gloves and 12 pairs of new gloves from the "Pink Game" honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The three-day auction for the pylons and the pink gloves begin on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 8 a.m., and runs through Friday, Oct. 26, at 5 p.m.
