2011 Michigan Football Broadcast Information
Help Finding the Game on TV
• ABC Regional / ESPN Reverse Mirror -- Games listed on the schedule as ABC/ESPN (or ABC/ESPN2) are regionally broadcast on ABC. In regions of the country where the game is not on ABC, it will be broadcast on ESPN (or ESPN2). Some cable companies may carry the mirror game on only the ESPN (or ESPN2) standard definition channel and not the high definition channel. Check the coverage maps late in the week for details.
• Big Ten Network -- When the Big Ten Network broadcasts multiple games in the same time slot, the game of primary interest in a region will be carried on the network's main channel. The Big Ten Network offers the other games in the time slot to its affiliates for airing on "extra football game channels." Check the Big Ten Network's Gamefinder to determine where to find a game in your channel lineup.
Michigan Sports Network Game Audio
The pre-game and game audio will be live on WWJ (950 am). On MGoBlue.com, all games will be streamed free of charge in Window Media format. Links will be provided on the front page and the football page.
Live Sports Radio Not Available in 2011
Unfortunately we will not be able to provide the Live Sports Radio technology this season. We will look to find a solution in the future for delay-free radio in the stadium, but in the meantime, please use your various regular radio sources including free audio on MGoBlue.com as well as the new MGoBlue2Go mobile app, which is available for Android (download) and iOS (download).
Inside Michigan Football TV Show
The Inside Michigan Football TV show returns for its fourth season in 2011. Fox Sports Detroit will air 15 shows throughout the fall, beginning with the premier on Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. Head coach Brady Hoke will be joined by host Jim Brandstatter for the 30-minute program that includes game and practice highlights, student-athlete features and in-depth analysis of past and future games.
Inside Michigan Football will be broadcast each Monday evening from Aug. 29-Nov. 28. With the exception of the first show (Aug. 29, 6 p.m.) and the Sept. 26 show (5:30 p.m.), Inside Michigan Football will air at 6:30 p.m. on FS Detroit. Repeats of each week's show will be shown on the Big Ten Network at noon on Wednesdays during September and on FS Detroit at 12:30 p.m. on Thursdays and 2 p.m. on Fridays. The time and date for the final show will be determined after the regular season.
Unfortunately, due to Big Ten Network regulations, Inside Michigan Football will not be available on MGoBlue.com.
