The University of Michigan will play host to the 2012 NCAA Men's Golf Ann Arbor Regional, Thursday through Saturday, May 17-19, at the U-M Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Mich. The competitors will play 54 holes (18 each day) on the par-71, 6,723-yard U-M Golf Course, which was designed by Alister MacKenzie.
Teams
The 2012 NCAA Men's Golf Ann Arbor Regional features 13 teams and 10 individuals. Teams (in seeding order) include: 1. Southern California, 2. Oregon, 3. Kent State (Mid-American Conference champion), 4. Virginia, 5. Baylor, 6. Oklahoma State, 7. Kennesaw State, 8. TCU, 9. Purdue, 10. North Carolina State, 11. Notre Dame (Big East Conference), 12. Ohio State, 13. Navy (Patriot League).
The 10 individuals are: 1. Peter Williamson, Dartmouth; 2. Matt Thompson, Michigan; 3. Sebastian MacLean, Xavier; 4. Erik Van Rooyen, Minnesota; 5. Dan Ellis, Michigan State; 6. Format
The 2012 NCAA Men's Golf Ann Arbor Regional will be 54 holes of championship play. Scoring will be five players, count the low four scores each round.
Schedule
The NCAA Ann Arbor Regional will be 54 holes of stroke-play competition with 18 holes each day. First- and second-day pairings will be determined by seedings. Final-day pairings will be determined by team totals from the previous rounds.

Qualification for Nationals
The low five teams at the Ann Arbor Regional and the low individual not on a qualifying team will advance to the NCAA Championships, to be held May 29-June 3 at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Spectators
Admission is free for the Ann Arbor Regional. Spectators must remain on cart paths or in the rough and approximately 15 yards from the players at all times (including all designated practice areas). There may be NO communication between players and spectators that could be deemed as advice of any nature for the duration of the 18 holes. All institutional personnel, with the exception of the designated coach, are considered spectators. Ringers on electronic devices must be turned off. Carts will not be provided for spectators.
Since all NCAA championships are considered smoke-free, spectators will be asked to refrain from smoking. Failure to adhere to these policies could result in removal from the course. The University of Michigan is a smoke-free campus.

Parking and Directions
Spectator Parking
There will be areas of reserved parking for the participating teams, officials and committee members. Media and spectators will be able to park at the U-M Golf Course in unmarked spots.
Stadium Blvd. Closure
Due to construction and closure of Stadium Blvd. east of the U-M Golf Course, the only way to the course is from the west (intersection of Stadium Blvd. and Main Street by Michigan Stadium). Stadium Blvd. is closed to through traffic but available for traffic to the U-M Golf Course. Visit the Ann Arbor Bridges Replacement Project page for more information.
Directions
From Detroit Metro Airport and points east: Take I-94 west to Ann Arbor-Saline Road (exit 175). Turn right and follow Ann Arbor-Saline Road as it turns into Main Street, going north for approximately 1 1/2 miles. Turn right onto Stadium Boulevard and make the second right into the Golf Course parking lot, on the opposite side of the street from Crisler Arena.
From Chicago and points west: Take I-94 east to Ann Arbor-Saline Road (exit 175). Turn left and follow Ann Arbor-Saline Road as it turns into Main Street, going north for approximately 1 1/2 miles. Turn right onto Stadium Boulevard and make the second right into the Golf Course parking lot, on the opposite side of the street from Crisler Arena.
From Toledo and points south: Take U.S. 23 north to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit Metro Airport.
From Flint and points north: Take U.S. 23 south to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit Metro Airport.
