Position:
Assistant Coach

Experience:
3rd Season

Geoff Corrigan began his third season as the assistant coach for the University of Michigan men's gymnastics team in January 2012. In that first year with the Wolverines, Corrigan helped Michigan to its fourth NCAA team title, the second under Kurt Golder and first since 1999. Corrigan's inaugural squad also set the record for most All-America honors with seven individuals combining for a record 13 awards.

Corrigan, a 2005 university graduate, was a four-year letter winner (2002-05), a 2005 All-American on the parallel bars and served as team captain for the 2004-05 season. After his time at Michigan, Corrigan trained under former world champion Vitaly Marinich at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. While there, he placed seventh in the all-around at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships and earned a place on the U.S. senior national team. In 2008, he served as the athlete ambassador at the Olympic Training Center. Corrigan and his fiancé, Rachel Walters, also a Michigan graduate, live in Ann Arbor.
