ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 3-ranked University of Michigan men's gymnastics team picked up a pair of team victories on Saturday (March 23) on Senior Night in Cliff Keen Arena. U-M (440.750) defeated No. 15 UIC (404.000) and SUNY-Brockport (306.550). Junior Matt Freeman (Canton, Mich./ Plymouth) won both still rings and pommel horse, while classmate Sam Mikulak (Corona del Mar, Calif./Corona del Mar) won vault and high bar.
The night also paid homage to U-M's three seniors in Douglass Johnson Jr. (Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola),Rohan Sebastian (Oklahoma City, Okla./McGuinness) and Syque Caesar (Port St. Lucie, Fla./Lincoln Park Academy).
On a night where Wolverines never trailed, U-M began on floor, where Caesar set a career high in his final home meet, scoring a 15.45 for the event title. Sophomore Stacey Ervin (Troy, Mich./Truman) took second on the table with a 15.30 as U-M collected a team score of 73.05.
Following a 71.20 on pommel horse -- where Freeman and Dylan James (Valencia, Calif./William S. Hart) tied for the event title with a 14.90 -- U-M swept the top six spots on rings with a season-best 76.70. Freeman led the way once again for the Wolverines, notching a 15.65 for his second event win on the night.
U-M captured vault with a team score of 74.40, where Mikulak led the way with a 15.45. Sophomore Michael Strathern (Bartlett, Ill./ Bartlett) scored a 15.20 to take second.
Rotation five saw the Wolverines take the top four spots on parallel bars with a 72.05. Sophomore Adrian de los Angeles (Long Beach, Calif./Millikan) returned to team competition with a career-high 15.75 on the event for the individual win, while Ervin followed in second with a 14.65. As a team, U-M scored a 72.05.
In the final rotation, Mikulak closed the night on high bar with a 15.05 for his second event win of the night, while de los Angeles took second with a 15.00. In all, U-M scored a 73.350, its highest tally on the event this season.
De los Angeles won the all-around competition for the Wolverines, scoring a career-best 89.70.
The meet wraps up the regular season for the Wolverines, who return to competition April 5-6 for the Big Ten Championships in an event hosted by the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Each day of team and individual competition commences at 7 p.m.

U-M's trio of seniors in Syque Caesar, Douglass Johnson Jr. and Rohan Sebastian were honored on the night.
Sebastian, competing in his final Cliff Keen Arena meet, set a career best on rings with a 15.40.
Johnson competed for the first time in two full seasons, scoring a 13.50 in the leadoff position on parallel bars.
Freshman Konner Ackerman scored a career best on high bar with a 14.80 to take third on the event.
