Michigan Head Coach Kurt Golder
On how the team needs to prepare for tomorrow night ... "They need to control their emotions. There is probably going to be a big crowd here, a big Michigan fan base. I heard a lot of people saying, 'What night should we go.' I said, 'Well if you are only going to go one night, it should probably be Friday night.' That will be the best night. I think the place will have twice as many people tomorrow, so they will just have to control that."
On using tonight's momentum for the team finals ... "Tonight we were kind of intentionally playing it low key -- not a lot of high-fiving, not a lot of celebrating and not a lot of big team cheers or anything. We did this so we did not expend ourselves tonight, and hopefully that will help us tomorrow."
U-M Senior Sam Mikulak
On building on this momentum heading into the team finals ... "We just have to rest up and get as much recovery as we can tonight. We need to make sure that mentally we are all ready to go out and hit the sets like we did today. We need to be consistent and use the crowd to our advantage."
On what he needs to do to defend his individual national crown ... "I just need to go out and hit my routines. That's the goal, and always is the goal, and you just want to be as successful as you can on the day that matters the most."
