ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- A pair of University of Michigan men's gymnasts in graduate student Syque Caesar (Port St. Lucie, Fla./Lincoln Park Academy) and senior Sam Mikulak (Corona del Mar, Calif./Corona del Mar) will take part in the 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships beginning Monday (Sept. 30) and concluding Sunday (Oct. 6) in Antwerp, Belgium.

Caesar of Bangladesh will compete in subdivision III on vault, parallel bars and high bar. Mikulak, the reigning U.S. all-around, parallel bar, and high bar champion, will compete in subdivision I and take part in the all-around competition. Mikulak is one of five gymnasts competing for team USA in the individual competition, as world championship competition only awards individual medals in years following the Olympic games.
