• Michigan's all-time record against Lake Superior State is now 60-46-7 and U-M is unbeaten in the last 15 meetings.

• Senior forward David Wohlberg scored the 50th goal of his career tonight. He has now recorded a point in seven of his last nine games, including five of his last six. Wohlberg also has recorded 13 points (5g, 8a) in nine career games against the Lakers.

• Freshman forward Alex Guptill tallied two points on the night (1g, 1a), tying a career high (last 1/6/12 vs. LSSU). He now has two straight multi-point games.

• Linemates David Wohlberg, Alex Guptill and Chris Brown each recorded at least one point in both games of the weekend series.

• The Michigan power play failed to convert on its three opportunities and successfully killed both off Lake Superior State's man-advantage opportunities.

• Goaltender Adam Janecyk turned aside 34-of-36 shots in his first career start.

• U-M is now 5-0-2 in its last seven games. Each of the last six games has been played against ranked opponents. LSSU is No. 18 in the USCHO poll.
