Michigan completed the series sweep of Ohio State tonight and improved its record all-time record against the Buckeyes to 70-33-11.
The Wolverines outscored the Buckeyes by an 8-1 margin this weekend.
Michigan has posted a 7-0-2 mark in its last nine games, dating back to a 1-0 OT win at Alaska on Dec. 3.
The Wolverines are now 14-8-4 overall this season, including an 8-6-4-1 mark in CCHA play.
U-M has a 2-1-1 record all-time in outdoor hockey games.
Goaltender Shawn Hunwick allowed just one goal on 77 shots by the Buckeyes this weekend. He posted 46 saves in a shutout Friday and made 31 saves tonight.
Hunwick won his second straight outdoor game as Michigan's starting goaltender. Hunwick was not slated to start the Big Chill at the Big House last season but stepped into the starting lineup and shut out the Spartans.
Chris Brown tied a career high with three points (1g, 2a) and now has seven points (3g, 4a) during his current four-game point streak.
David Wohlberg extended his point streak with four games with a goal and an assist this evening. Wohlberg has eight points (3g, 5a) during the run.
Alex Guptill also posted two points (1g, 1a) for Michigan and extended his point streak to a four games (3g, 5a), tying a career long.
Kevin Clare tallied a career-high two points (2a) in the win. Clare's two helpers also set a single-game career mark for the sophomore defenseman.
