Michigan Head Coach Red Berenson
On the offensive production ... "I thought we worked harder. We worked with more intensity. When everybody works hard, you're going to get some breaks. I can't tell you that they were tic-tac-toe goals; they were just whack and hack hard-working goals."
On Luke Moffatt's performance ... "I think he just worked hard, and he got a break early in the game. I give the kid marks. He's worked hard, and he worked hard again tonight, and he got rewarded."
On getting the first road win of the season ... "Well it's time for our team to really hunker down and play our best hockey. Not that you can just turn it on, but I think we made up our minds today. Today is the day to start the turnaround for this team. Whether it's home or away it doesn't matter, we don't have a lot of choice."
U-M Junior Forward Luke Moffatt
On the team's performance ... "We decided that we were going to start playing some playoff hockey. We decided to bear down and not worry about the standings, not worry about anything and just go out there and try to win some games. We were all finally clicking together. We had some good chemistry going. We were playing for each other, for the team and for Michigan. We decided that today was going to be the day that we're starting a new season; starting our playoff run."
On the frustrations of this season ... "This season has been a little frustrating in many ways. Personally, I haven't been producing as much as I'd like and obviously, team-wise, we haven't been winning games. We've had a lot more downs than ups so far, but we're hoping to turn this thing around right now."
