Michigan Head Coach Red Berenson
On the game overall ... "I was really impressed with our team tonight. I thought after last night's game we didn't play that well. Their team outplayed us for big parts of the game, and even though we won the game, I thought that if our team came in there overconfident tonight, we were in trouble. I can't say -- and even before the game I couldn't have told you -- how ready this team was, and they showed it. It was a convincing victory right from the start."
On Michigan's complete team effort ... "It is something that we haven't had enough of, and this is the time of year when you really try to get your team to come together and play like a team. I thought we did that tonight, and the goalie did not have to be a factor and good for him. He still kept the score down, they had some isolated chances here and there."
U-M Junior Defenseman Mac Bennett
On overall performance from the team ... "I think that was the best game we've played all year. We started hot and finished hot. We were great all around. Our special teams played really well. We dominated the game. We knew beforehand that we were going to stick the dagger in this team, and we did."
U-M Freshman Forward Andrew Copp
On special teams performance ... "We talked about simplicity over the last couple weeks and getting pucks to the net and getting guys to the front of the net. Speaking for myself, my goal was a rebound goal, (Kevin) Lynch's goal last night was a rebound goal, so simplicity is really what we've been focused on."
