U-M Senior Defenseman Lee Moffie
On the assessment that this was one of Michigan's better defensive games this season ... "Yeah it was, I knew it had to be. We have enough scoring on our team right now, and I think the focus of our team has to be defense. All our defensemen have kind of taken that role."
On what the defense says to each other late in a one-goal game ... "We are absolutely willing to do whatever it takes to not let in a goal. You get in front of any shot, you're diving; you're desperate. More importantly, you're playing a style on defense, and you have positioning on your guy."
U-M Freshman Defenseman Jacob Trouba
On the importance of winning the first game ... "We found that out last weekend that Friday is a big game; that was a big win obviously. We've got to finish it tomorrow because we don't want to give them a chance, and once they're down there we want to keep them there."
On the atmosphere of his first road playoff game ... "It was good. We knew this was a crazy place to play' we came here about a month ago or something. We know it's going to be hostile, but that's road hockey. You enjoy that."
