• After being down 4-1 heading into the third period, Michigan battled back to within one but ultimately fell, 4-3, to NMU. The Wolverines' all-time record vs. NMU now stands at 37-20-7

Kevin Lynch scored his second goal in as many games. Lynch has four career goals in 11 games vs. NMU and has six points (2g, 4a) in seven games overall this season.

Mac Bennett tallied his third goal of the season and second of the series vs. the Wildcats. He added an assist and now has nine points (3g, 6a) on the season.

A.J. Treais and Lindsay Sparks led Michigan with four shots on goal each.
