Michigan Head Coach Red Berenson
On the game ... "Well you knew they would come out harder and play better, but I didn't know that we would come out like that. And I can't blame our goalie; it was nothing to do with him. It was poor defense, poor defensive play, it was poor battle; we had no battle on this team tonight. And they just took over the game."
On Matt Berry's play tonight ... "I'm not counting the points, but Berry is their top offensive player and we have to respect that. They got off to a good start; maybe they didn't have a good night last night. Maybe they were a little embarrassed, but they came back tonight and they had pride. Your best players are supposed to be your best players and their's were tonight."
On when he felt the game slipping away ... "At the six-minute mark (of the first period) when they scored those goals back-to-back; that was huge. You talk about getting the crowd back in the game and all of a sudden it's 3-0."
