• The Wolverines snapped a three-game skid with tonight's win.

A.J. Treais opened the scoring for Michigan, potting his team-leading ninth goal of the season. Treais is now tied for the NCAA lead in goals and leads the Wolverines with 14 points (9g, 5a) in 12 games.

Alex Guptill netted his fifth goal of the season midway through the second period to give Michigan a 2-1 lead. The goal held up as the game-winner -- Guptill's second of the season.

Justin Selman scored his second goal of the season and now has goals in two of his last three games.

Jacob Trouba led Michigan with four blocked shots. A.J. Treais paced the team with seven shots on goal.

• Tonight marked the third straight game that Michigan has tallied an unassisted goal.

Phil Di Giuseppe led the team with two assists. He is now tied for the team lead in assists with seven.

• Goaltender Steve Racine turned aside 15 shots for his fourth win of the year.

• Michigan's power play finished the night 0-for-4, while the penalty kill unit stopped BGSU on all three of its man-advantages.
