• Tonight's game marked the first time in program history that the Wolverines have played at Madison Square Garden. Michigan's all-time record vs. Cornell now stands at 3-4-1, with the Big Red owning a current two-game win streak.

Mac Bennett notched the only goal of the game for Michigan, scoring his fourth of the season.
