Postgame Notes: Michigan 3, #14 Michigan State 3 (U-M loses shootout, 1-0)

• Michigan and Michigan State met for the 281st time, an NCAA Division I all-time high. Michigan's all-time record against its CCHA rival now stands at 139-123-19.

Chris Brown opened the scoring for Michigan and added an assist on U-M's third-period goal. He has goals in back-to-back games and points in seven of his last nine outings (3g, 6a).

Alex Guptill posted two assists in tonight's contest and now has points in three straight games (2g, 2a).

Andrew Sinelli saw action in his third career game tonight and earned his first point with an assist on Luke Moffatt's second-period goal.

• The goal was Moffatt's third of the season and his first since Nov. 19 against Ohio State.

David Wohlberg scored his seventh goal of the season tonight, late in the third period. Wohlberg now has goals in back-to-back games and in four of his last five outings (4g).
