ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- On Thursday (Jan. 10), the University of Michigan ice hockey program announced that freshman Daniel Milne (Unionville, Ontario) has left the program.

"Daniel Milne informed us today that he is leaving the Michigan ice hockey program. While we are disappointed with his decision, it is important to note that he is leaving in good academic standing," U-M head coach Red Berenson said in a statement.

Milne was held scoreless in seven games with the Wolverines this season.
